Machining and surface finishes

In addition to the rough surface finish by blasting, we can perform processes such as: cutting, rough turning and pre-finish according to drawing. From 2017 working in machining department:

• 1 shot-blasting machine
• 2 robotized islands
• 6 numerical control lathes
• 3 lathes
• 10 bandsaws: 3 of which in the machining department and 7 in the cutting department.

Robotic Islands

The Robotized Islands installed are intended for the production of semi-finished components such as Valve Seats for Industrial and Naval Engines for O.E.M. (First Plant) and A.M. (Exchange Market).

They consist of:

• Island 1: ABB robot Mod. IRB4600 + 2 MAHO Graziano GR400C CNC lathes
  The IRB 4600 series represents ABB Robotics’ flagship group as regards the new generation, with new and improved capabilities.
• Island 2: Robot ABB Mod. IRB4600 + 2 CNC 3 Axis Lathes DOOSAN Puma GT 3100
